Once the request is received, I will get back to you as soon as I can to discuss the details and if applicable, confirm the slot.
Prices listed for illustrations in the commission page are for existing or pre-designed characters only. Should character design be required, please refer to the character sheet prices or check with me to determine the final cost.
Clients are responsible for clearly stating the required elements of the artwork upfront to get an accurate quote for the commission. If unstated elements are requested after the sketching stage has begun, I reserve the right to reject the request or charge additional fees at my discretion depending on the scale of the additional element.
Payment may only be made once the details of the commission, Terms of Service and the quote are agreed upon.
I will send an invoice via PayPal once the slot is confirmed so do kindly wait for the invoice before making payment.
I am not liable if you make any mistakes regarding the transaction so do be mindful.
Payment is accepted in USD only and the PayPal's fees will be covered by me.
A down payment of 50% of the total quote is required to confirm the commission slot.
Payment is expected within 48 hours from the time the invoice was sent out. Failure to make payment within this period will result in an automatic cancellation of your order.
Repeated cancellations will result in a client being blacklisted.
Once the payment is made, I will start on the sketch. A WIP will be sent once the sketch is completed for the client to feedback upon. The two major revisions to the sketch may only be made during this time.
Once necessary adjustments are made and the sketch is confirmed, I will start on the color and lighting plan. A WIP will be sent once the plan is completed for the client to feedback upon. The two colour or lighting adjustments may only be made during this time.
Once the colour and lighting plan has been confirmed, payment of the remaining 50% must be made for the commission to be completed.
No major adjustments may be made beyond this point. If adjustments are requested, I reserve the right to reject the request or charge additional fees at my discretion depending on the scale of the adjustment.
Once the commission is completed, the files will be available for download via Google Docs. I will provide a link and the files will be available for a period of one month minimum.
I am unable to guarantee against data losses due to hardware or software problems nor deletion due to accidents or issues from cloud severs so do kindly have a copy or copies saved on your computer or external memory drives.
Commercial Usage:
A minimum increment of 50% of the total rate will be charged for artworks that will be used commercially. I reserve the right to charge more depending on the use of the artwork.
Price for the commission of usage terms will be agreed upon before payment and commencement of the artwork.
Examples of commercial use include but are not limited to: branding, packaging, promotion, streaming assets and/or redistribution for profit.
Lead Time:
I may take a day or two to get back to you regarding your commission request. Should I not get back to you within 48 hours, do feel free to send a follow up message in case I missed your initial request.
Clients are able to set a deadline for their commission, however, the deadline will need to be disclosed upfront before the slot is confirmed.
I reserve the right to decline the request should the time frame be too short or charge an minimum of 20% of the total quote as an express fee. I reserve the right to adjust the express fees depending on the time frame given.
Depending on my workload, I may take up to three weeks to get to your commission and an additional week or two to complete the commission depending on the scale of the artwork.
The time line provided above may be subjected to changes but clients will be notified of any delays.

During the sketching and planning process:

Should I opt to cancel the commission, 100% of the payment will be refunded and the processing fees for the refund will be covered by me.

Clients may not issue chargebacks for any reason.

In the case that a chargeback is issues due to a technical issue, do notify me as soon as possible so I may address and resolve the issue.
Abusing chargebacks as a way to cancel the commission and get a refund will not be tolerated and will result in immediate blacklisting.
Copyrights and Responsibilities:

All rights to the artwork belong to me and I reserve the right to sign and/or watermark my work for both commercial or non-commercial artworks unless discussed and agreed on beforehand.

I reserve the rights to use my artwork in my portfolio and social media as a sample and/or for self-promotion unless terms are discussed and agreed upon beforehand.
I reserve the right to share the creation process on social media posts and/or streaming platforms unless terms are discussed and agreed on beforehand.
I reserve the right to charge fees for extremely detailed designs and/or suggest ways to simplify the designs.
I reserve the right to refund the full amount to the client and cancel the order should I no longer wish to work on the commission.
I reserve the right to reject critiques regarding my artistic skill or style.
I reserve the right to blacklist clients should they fail to follow the Terms of Service.

In cases where credit for character's design belongs to the client or another artist, credit for the character's design will be given accordingly and the artwork will not be redistributed unless discussed and agreed on beforehand.
For fanart (where copyright laws allow the distribution of fanart) or art of characters designed by myself, I reserve the rights to redistribute the artwork electronically and/or physically unless terms are discussed and agreed on beforehand.
In the case of adoptable designs, I will not reuse nor redistribute the rights to the design once ownership is transferred to the client.
I am only responsible for sending the client two WIPs (Work in Progress). One of the sketch and one of the colour and lighting plan. Outside of this, the client may request for WIPs at any time within reason.
I am not liable for any unsatisfactory elements of the completed artwork if no feedback was given to amend it.
In the case that any additional adjustments need to be made due to lack of feedback from the client, I reserve the right to charge fees at my discretion for any additional adjustments depending on the scale of the adjustment.
In the case that any adjustments need to be made after the colour and lighting planning stage due to lack of feedback from the client, I reserve the right to charge fees at my discretion for any additional adjustments depending on the scale of the adjustment.
In the case that I missed out or overlooked certain details, minor changes may be made.

Should clients be unsure, they are responsible for checking and clarifying details regarding the Terms of Service and commission prices with me. I will not be liable for any misinterpretations and results caused in the event should clients not do so.
Clients are responsible for stating deadlines when placing an order should there be one.
Clients may request for a Work in Progress shot at any time but please do so reasonably.
Clients may use the commissioned artwork as a profile picture and/or banner for their personal websites or social media, as a wallpaper for their phone, tablet and/or computers. Printing and/or other physical reproductions of the artwork are allowed as long as it is for personal use and is strictly non-profit. All that is required is visible credit to @RairiiArt.
Clients may upload my artwork onto social media, forums or other websites for display as long as visible credits are given and the artwork is linked back to my social media and/or website.
Clients may not claim my artwork as their own.
Clients may not trace over my artwork nor directly use it in other artworks or projects unless specifically discussed and agreed on beforehand.
Clients may not alter, edit my artwork without my permission.
Clients may not use redistribute nor use the artwork for profit unless discussed and agreed on beforehand.
Clients may not convert my artwork into an NFT. (Non-Fungible Token)
Clients may not use my artwork in AI Art.
Clients are not allowed to place any watermarks on the artwork unless it is commercial work.
In the case of adoptable designs, Client will have full rights to the character's design.
Clients are responsible for protecting either their and/or my ownership and/or rights to a character's design when uploading it to websites. Please ensure that my signature or watermark remains visible on the artwork and credit is clearly given when uploading. In the case of commercial works, the client may also add their watermark to the artwork before uploading to ensure ownership and/or rights are maintained.
Clients are responsible for giving feedback regarding any unsatisfactory elements during the sketching and planning process so that revisions may be made.
Clients acknowledge that only two major revisions regarding the pose and/or composition will be allowed during the sketching phase.
Clients acknowledge that only two major colour and lighting adjustments will be allowed during the colour and lighting planning phase.
Client acknowledge that only minor adjustments may be made after the colour and lighting planning phase is complete and any major adjustments beyond this point will be subjected to charges at my discretion depending on the scale of the adjustment.
Clients are responsible for saving and safeguarding a copy or copies of the file(s) once the order is completed.
